ELCATALOG Battery Warranty Policy
General Warranty Terms
Endless Creations warrants batteries bearing the ELCATALOG brand, as well as batteries covered under the company's warranty and bearing the label "Warranty by ELCATALOG" against manufacturing defects, subject to the following terms and conditions.
Required Information to Activate the Warranty
The following information must be provided to activate the warranty:
· Battery serial number
· Vehicle plate number
· Customer name
· Customer phone number
· Battery model
· Vehicle make and model
· Installation date
In the Event of a Battery Failure During the Warranty Period, please follow the steps below:
- Bring your vehicle to the authorized service center or dealer from which the battery was purchased, together with the purchase invoice and either the warranty activation SMS or the warranty certificate and battery serial number which is available on the battery body or on the available on the battery carton box, whichever is available.
- The authorized service center will verify the warranty information and inspect the battery and the vehicle's electrical system to determine whether the failure is due to a manufacturing defect.
- If the battery is confirmed to have failed due to a manufacturing defect, it will be replaced immediately with a new battery through the original point of purchase, provided that the replacement battery warranty covers only the remaining warranty period of the original battery.
- The service center must return the defective battery to Endless Creations, together with a copy of the purchase invoice and a copy of the vehicle registration/license and battery serial number. The company will verify the submitted information and perform the necessary tests to determine whether the battery failure is due to a manufacturing defect. If the battery is confirmed to be covered under the warranty, the company will provide a replacement battery to the service center that replaced it for the customer. If the battery does not meet the warranty conditions, no replacement battery will be issued to the service center.
Warranty Is Void in the Following Cases
The warranty shall be void if any of the following applies:
· The battery has been opened or the production date has been tampered with.
· The battery serial number label is missing.
· The battery case is cracked or physically damaged.
· An incorrect battery has been installed in the vehicle, or the battery has not been properly secured.
· The battery has been used for purposes other than its intended use.
· The battery has been transferred to another vehicle not registered under the warranty.
· Additional electrical accessories not originally installed by the vehicle manufacturer have been installed and are determined to have caused damage to the battery.
· One or both battery terminals have melted due to improper installation or misuse.
· There are signs of severe impact damage on any battery terminal.
· The damage resulted from a malfunction in the vehicle’s charging system.
· The battery has been completely discharged while the vehicle was not in use.
· Overcharging or low electrolyte level has occurred (indicated by a white magic eye on the battery).
· The battery has been stored for more than six (6) months before installation.
1. ELCATALOG Lead-Acid Batteries (Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles)
Endless Creations, as the owner of the ELCATALOG trademark, provides a warranty against manufacturing defects as follows:
· 15 months for passenger vehicles.
· 9 months for vehicles used for commercial purposes.
2. CIAK AGM Batteries (Start-Stop)
Endless Creations, as the exclusive distributor of CIAK Batteries (Croatia) and the owner of the ELCATALOG trademark, provides a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
3. CIAK Starter MOTO AGM Motorcycle Batteries
Endless Creations, as the exclusive distributor of CIAK Batteries (Croatia) and the owner of the ELCATALOG trademark, provides a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects for CIAK Starter MOTO AGM motorcycle batteries.
Note: Please make sure to keep the battery serial number that is available on the carton box of the battery
4. BOSCH Factory Activated AGM Batteries
Endless Creations, as the authorized distributor of BOSCH Automotive Aftermarket Spare parts and the owner of the ELCATALOG trademark, provides a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects for Bosch Factory Activated AGM batteries.
Note: Please make sure to keep the battery serial number that is available on the carton box of the battery
5. CIAK Industrial Traction TUB Batteries (Electric Vehicle Traction Batteries)
Endless Creations, as the exclusive distributor of CIAK Batteries (Croatia) and the owner of the ELCATALOG trademark, provides a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the following operating conditions:
· Check the battery water level regularly and refill only with distilled water when necessary. The water level should reach the top of the internal plates only and must not exceed this level.
· Refill water only after the battery has been fully charged, since the electrolyte level rises during charging. Filling before charging may cause overflow and damage the battery.
· Never remove excess electrolyte if overfilled, as this will alter the electrolyte concentration and reduce battery life and performance. Water should therefore be added carefully in accordance with the first operating instruction above.
· Ensure the battery is securely fastened to prevent damage caused by excessive vibration.
· Ensure all electrical connections are clean, secure, and properly tightened.
· Use a suitable, high-quality battery charger to prevent battery damage.
· Avoid complete battery discharge. The battery should ideally be recharged when its remaining capacity reaches approximately 20%, in order to maximize battery life, maintain optimum performance, and ensure longer operating time.
